NOTD: Red-Orange Plaid Water Nail Decals

Howdy! I just wanna share how my nails look uber cute right now.

Nice, right? Reminds me of the plaid skirt I used to wear since Preparatory upto my High School years back in Assumption Antipolo.. Yes, believe it or not I am an Assumptionista.. I spent a good 12 years studying in that school. Missing Assumption already :)

For this one I used those water nail decals then topped it off with a glow in the dark nail polish, thus the hazy effect on the design (I ran out of clear coat haha!). I'll write a post soon on how to apply water nail decals.

Till my next post. Yeeehaaaw!! <):)

Mary Kay TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser & Age Fighting Moisturizer

Howdy! The next products I'm posting a review on are the Mary Kay TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser & TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer (for oily/combination skin).

I only had these sample sachets given to me by my very good friend Ivy to try out. Both sachets were good for at most 3 uses.

I'll start with the TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser:

It is a transparent, gel-like substance that has a few tiny bits of black beads to help in scrubbing for a deeper facial cleaning. The consistency of the product is very thick and it doesn't build up a soapy foam as you lather the product onto your face. A little amount of this cleanser can go a looooong way! My friend said this 127g bottle can go for like, 6 months or so.

One thing I don't like about this product was the smell... Kinda hard to explain but I think it was somewhat similar to the scent of signpen ink. But nevermind the smell, what I'm after about this cleanser was the overall effect on my face. My face really felt so clean! It felt so soft and velvety smooth to the touch. This product got all the icky yucky oils totally sucked out of my face! Yes, here I go again, I can't stop my hands from rubbing, pinching, and feeling my cheeks again and again... You should really try this product and let's see if you can stop yourself from doing the same haha!! And since all the oils on your face have been eliminated, it is recommended to follow this product with the use of the TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer.

Next up, the TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer:

It looks like your ordinary moisturizer. Nothing so special aesthetically speaking.. White in color with a rich & creamy consistency. As with the 3-in-1 Cleanser, you only need a small amount of this product for each use and this 88ml bottle can also go a looooong way!

Again, the smell is very much similar to the cleanser, it's not at all a basket of fresh-picked flowers from the meadows of tra la la... But the effect, PAK! I'm like, wow... It gave my face that nice, silky soft feel. My cheeks felt supple and yet again, my hands.. I can't help but feel my cheeks again and again!!

I highly recommend these two products! Two thumbs up! You can instantly see and feel a noticeable (good) change on your face even at the first use.

The price of these babies are a bit on the high end side though, with the TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser 127g tube at 1175.00php and the TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer 88ml tube at 1280.00php

St. Ives Apricot Scrub

Howdy! Have you experienced that troublesome period during your puberty wherein your face became a zit farm? I did... :( That period was even extended way beyond my college years. I tried using astringents, facial washes, papaya soaps, getting facials, diamond peel, etc. but all my efforts were useless. Then I decided to give this product a shot: St. Ives Apricot Scrub (Invigorating).

At first I felt uncomfortable using it since it was the first time I tried using an abrasive facial cleansing product but as the weeks and months passed, I eventually got used to it. They say that you should only be using facial scrubs for like, twice or thrice a week but I use it on a daily basis. Since I started using this product, it was the first time my face cleared up as if the heavens suddenly shone down its light upon the Earth in the midst of a violent storm! *insert sound of angels singing in a choir* Since then, I stuck to using this product as my everyday facial cleanser. Even my man uses it!

I got this 283g tub of Apricot Scrub for only 215.00php in SM Department Store. The original price was 239.00php but this item was on sale when I bought this.

Just a reminder:
Not all products work the same for different people. One of my friends tried this product as well and she said it broke her out. So if you especially have sensitive skin, better consult with a dermatologist first before using any product on your face.

How about you, which facial cleansing product are you using? Share your experiences by giving me a holler.

Till my next post. Yeeehaaaw!! <):)
