NOTD: Red-Orange Plaid Water Nail Decals

Howdy! I just wanna share how my nails look uber cute right now.

Nice, right? Reminds me of the plaid skirt I used to wear since Preparatory upto my High School years back in Assumption Antipolo.. Yes, believe it or not I am an Assumptionista.. I spent a good 12 years studying in that school. Missing Assumption already :)

For this one I used those water nail decals then topped it off with a glow in the dark nail polish, thus the hazy effect on the design (I ran out of clear coat haha!). I'll write a post soon on how to apply water nail decals.

Till my next post. Yeeehaaaw!! <):)

Caress Glow in the Dark Nail Polish

Howdy! Some people have weird fascinations about things. In my case, I get fascinated about the simplest things, such as glow in the dark stuff! ^_^ In line with this, I've searched long and hard for a glow in the dark nail polish that was locally available and was sooo happy to have finally found one! Today I'll be doing a review on the Caress Glow in the Dark Nail Polish.
pardon again the poor picture quality of my phone cam

This nail polish is pretty easy to apply as it goes smoothly as you brush it onto your nails. It looks like a clear polish with minute bits of the glow in the dark substance visible when you apply it alone on your nails. I usually use this as a top coat over my regular nail polish.

But wait till you see it in the dark, it's soooo freakin' awesome!!!
I had to go inside of my closet just to take this picture during daytime haha!!

To be able to achieve a glow as shown in the picture, I had to apply 3 or 4 thick coats of this product, expose my nails to light, and turn off the lights (or in my case, hide inside of the closet :'p).

This little 10ml bottle of simple happiness only costs 34.95php, although I only found them available in the department stores of both Ever Gotesco Ortigas and Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Cainta. It's probably available in other Ever malls.

How about you, what simple things fascinate you? Let me know by posting a comment on this review. :)

Till my next post. Yeeehaaaw!! <):)
