EOTD: Sunset by the Beach

Howdy! Yesterday, a college friend Rem challenged me to use red-colored shadows for my next EOTD. But since my eyeshadow palettes didn't contain enough shades of red so that I can create a look that has a transition from light red to dark red, I just tried to come up with a look that has a red color in it. So without further ado, here's the look that I achieved just a couple hours ago... I call it, sunset by the beach <3

This look is just, love!! The beach is calling onto me already.. I badly miss hitting the beach.. :'( Anybody wanna accompany this cowgirl to the beach?

EOTD: Tropical Paradise

Howdy! I just wanna share this look that I achieved the other day. As usual, I was just playing around but I think this one ended up in a lovely tropical-themed look. And yeah, I kinda liked it!

I just love colors! Mix them, blend them, then come up with a look that's pretty swell. :)

FOTD: Camouflage

Howdy! Have you ever tried doing crazy stuff when you're bored? ...of course most people have, duh me! I've probably told some of my friends (and some high school friends know this) that I am a frustrated PMAer. I badly wanted to enter the Academy after finishing from Assumption but my dad didn't let me... I would have been a member of PMA Class 2006 if ever... 

Anyway, tonight I found the camo paint kit that my brod JD gave me years ago back in college. It's 4am, I can't sleep, I'm bored like hell, and I got a camo paint kit in my hand. Here's what happened next... My brother can't stop laughing while taking my pictures! ROFL!! XD

"don't dare mess with me, ammuh hunt ya down, b*atches..." bahaha!! XD

No pun intended to my military friends, aight? I'm bored, and I like experimenting with make-up and stuff. Just so happened I have real men's make-up with me as well hehehe..

Gosh I still don't feel sleepy... GAAAAAAAAH!! X'| Starting to count sheep in a few...

EOTD: Blue

Howdy! What's your favorite color? My ultimate favorite color of all time is blue. Now what if we translate this beautiful color into make-up? A lot of women are actually hesitant to sport a look using blue-toned eye shadows. Light blue, perhaps.. but the darker shades of blue? Only the bold can can work it... haha! Probably because women associate darker tones of blue eye shadows with ..errr.. night club prostitutes.. Although when properly blended and mixed with matching tones, one can realize that blue can be stunningly gorgeous. Here's the look that I achieved yesterday night using different shades of shimmery blue eye shadows.

Now what's your opinion, do you think this looks trashy? Narcissistic again yeah, but I personally love the outcome of this look! Yes I am pretty biased with blue but when doing my own make-up, I do know how to recognize whether my make-up techniques have been poorly executed or if I can work it. This one is just.. love!! <3

EOTD: Rasta Lovin'

Howdy! One of the music genres that I really love grooving to is reggae music. Being an enthusiast of both make-up and reggae music, I decided to come up with this EOTD as my tribute to all that reggae lovin'..

FOTD: Bridal Make-up

Howdy! I'm baaaaaaack!! It's been a long time since I last wrote a blog post so today I am planning to do a little blog post dumping.. haha!! For the past couple of weeks that my blog has been idle, I have been busy with so much gayness and I'll be putting them all up here as much as possible.

Today, let me start with a look that I was able to achieve last week. I think it can be considered as a bridal-look make-up and might I say, I really liked how it came out.

EOTD: Ice Princess and Sugarplum Fairy

Howdy! One of the events that I can say I felt oh-so-gorgeous was during the Ring Hop of my son's dad back in March. Not to be boastful, but I can confidently say that because I didn't do my own make-up at that time... hahaha! In fact, it was the first time I was sooo happy with how I looked like after being fixed up by someone else. So who else can I trust my looks with, none other than my beloved kumare Charm! Here's how I looked like during that evening:

Isn't she talented? Actually, I think she should be the one doing a make-up blog because she'd be more credible compared to me haha! Love you kumare! *mwah!* Anyway, as I said, I ain't no make-up artist, I'm simply a cowgirl wanting to be pretty and share with the world my insights about this fascination of mine. ;)

EOTD: No Make-up Look

Howdy! I have a confession to make.. I've actually been struggling to succeed with a "no make-up" look. I think I got too fond of playing around with vibrant colors that I forgot to practice more on doing basic looks. This is one of my drastic attempts to do a "no make-up" look:

It definitely needs more work to be done. Oh well! I really should attend a make-up workshop already hahaha!! XD I'll give this one another try next time and I'll try my best to improve the look. Back to the drawing board then.

EOTD: Black and Blue

Howdy! When we say someone's eyes are black and blue, we'd always think, "aww the poor thing got beaten up..." Since black and blue are two of my favorite colors, I decided to mix these colors up in one look. Fortunately, I think I did a great job on this one because I succeeded in making black and blue look good on my eyes (dang am I narcissistic or what?! sheesh...). Again, this is one of my favorite looks.

My all time favorite color is blue so next time, I wanna try to do a blue-only look. How about you, what is/are your favorite color/s that you like to wear on your eyes? Let me know by commenting on this post.

EOTD: Pink

Howdy! Have I mentioned that I am not a big fan of pinks? Yeah.. I just dunno why.. But anyway, since my make-up palette had some pink shades in it, I figured I should also give it a try. Actually, it turned out to be pretty on me (just my opinion, narcissistic I know.. haha!!) and this look also became one of my favorites.

Oh before I forget I just wanna reiterate: I am not a make-up artist, nor have I had any formal cosmetology training. What I'm doing is just simply horseplay, that's why the looks are neither refined nor precise. I'm considering attending a make-up workshop someday though, maybe I can learn some basics and proper color coding for eyes and lips. And oh, I wanna learn how to put on some falsies too haha!!

EOTD: Violet

Howdy! This next look that I'm gonna share is.. well, I don't like it that much. hahaha!! But my kumare says she likes it (she's a big fan of purples & violets) sooo... Here it is.. uh oh! haha! Just like what I always say, play and experiment!

I'm looking to do another violet/purple EOTD soon but next time I'll try to do it better. I need to give this color some justice to its beauty hahaha!! This one that I made is simply a disaster XD Nevertheless, here's to more looks to be posted on my blog! Yeeehaaaw!! <):)

EOTD: Tinkerbell Green

Howdy! This next look is yet another one that I liked on me. This was the first time I wore green shadows on my eyes and surprisingly it actually turned out okay! A lot of my friends liked it on me too. This look is what I call, the "Tinkerbell look":

I find it pretty but am not sure if I could wear this look in the daytime.. People might think, what's this forest nymph doing out in the city??! hahaha!! So yeah, definitely belongs to the evening look category.

EOTD: Silver & Black

Howdy! Do you like playing or experimenting with make-up? I do! Sometimes when I'm working, even though I just stay at home I love fixing myself up! It also amazes my students whenever they see me all dolled up on web cam and they would go, "wow you look so pretty!" haha!! XD

Here's one of my favorite looks that I did...

What I like about this look is that it's so simple but (I think) it's elegant. :)
