Skin79 Super+ BB Cream in Hot Pink

Howdy! Today I'm finally posting my review on the product that so many women are raving about: Skin79 Super+ BB Cream in Hot Pink yaay! This review's gonna be a bit long because I super love love LOVE this product!!

This product is suitable for oily/combination skin.

Information on the bottle say that it has triple functions; whitening, UV protection (SPF25 PA++) and for the improvement of wrinkle condition, but I think it does waaaaay more than that!

Let's start with the stuff I love about this product (after a 1-week trial period):

*Uber cute packaging! Again, not a fan of pinks, but this one knocked me off my socks. Hot pink, I feel so gaaaay!! XD

*Has English writings at the back of the bottle yaaay!! but... (check cons)

*SPF25 UV protection

*Very easy to spread; a little amount of the product goes a long way!

*Easily blends onto my face

*Matte finish

*Feels silky smooth and light on my face, it can stand alone without setting powder

*Medium coverage

*Scent is okay

*I don't look like espasol when I'm wearing it

*Excellent oil control! It takes a longer time (4-5hrs or more) before I would need to blot

*It has waterproof properties so when I perspire, sweat comes out in droplet form. I just pat my face dry using a clean towel and voila! My face is back to its smooth and silky feel

(with this BB cream, I sometimes couldn't help running my fingers all over my cheeks because surprisingly they just feel oh so silky smooth even at the end of a long gimmick day/night)

*Helps make dark spots fade faster

*Helps in faster healing of pimples/scars

*Whitened my face

*Made my overall facial skin texture smoother and more elastic even without any make-up on

*Helps in pimple/blemish prevention

*Faded some of the fine lines and wrinkles on my face

Next, the Cons:

*What the heck does "beblesh" mean??! seriously...

*My nose bled from reading the English writings at the back of the bottle.. o_O hey Skin79, do you guys need an English proofreader?? *wink wink!*

*Just 1 shade available, but it blends well on almost all Asian skin shades

*Lots of imitations out there. If you are not aware of the differences between the authentic and fake Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream, you might get duped (click here to learn how to determine authenticity of the Skin79 BB Cream in Hot Pink)

*Some online sellers take advantage of the popularity of this BB Cream and sell it for a much higher price... Check Han Ryu, they offer the lowest prices for good quality authentic Korean Cosmetics

Just a couple of tips/reminders:

-Just use a pea-sized amount of the product for your face and neck. Believe me, that small pea will go a looooong way!

-The best way to apply BB Cream onto your face is by using your fingers, or if you prefer to do so you can also use a liquid foundation brush.

-Even if this has tons of beneficial properties for your face, always follow your usual make-up cleansing regimen before going to bed!

-Again, BB creams may not have the same effects on different people with similar or different skin types.

This 40g bottle is usually sold for like, 850-1200php or more (exclusive of shipping) in most online stores that sell Korean cosmetics but I got mine for only 780php (plus 80php shipping fee) from none other than Han Ryu!

So, what is my rating for this product?? 10 out of 10 stars!! Yes, the Cons may be negligible because what I'm after is the product itself and the effects it has on me. So far, as of now I could say this is my "the one". Would I repurchase this product? Damn yeah!

Yet Another Han Ryu High!

Howdy!! If only words can express how happy I am today, it would go something like ajgbcouglcnbhkgfuyegfsdkclahgYAAAAAAHOOOOOOOEEEEYYY!!! I got my second stash of goodies from Han Ryu!! I'm so stoked! I was so anxious waiting since early in the morning for the delivery guy to arrive and finally it's here! My second haul from Han Ryu :)

Okay, okay, I admit... I have a crazy obsession for BB Creams yeah. Before, it used to be lippies and glosses but since I learned about these make-up wonders, I couldn't help but jump into the bandwagon of BB cream-using women. I mean hey, I spent a big chunk of my life being boyish and all so yeah, this is my time to shine and bask in the wonders of being one fabulous hot mommah bahaha! XD

Anyway, this is how my goodies arrived.. in perfect condition! Carefully packaged might I say :)

Oh, that extra box in the picture above is, believe it or not, my freebie!! ^_^ Best thing about it is that it came along with a really sweet note :)

Is your Skin79 BB Cream in Hot Pink authentic or fake?

Howdy! I'm sure everybody has noticed that recently, there are more imitation cosmetic products that are coming out in the market. Singapore authentic, Hong Kong/China authentic, whatever.. I did a little research on how to tell the difference between an authentic Skin79 BB Cream in hot pink from the fake one. Skin79 has recently changed the packaging of their products and here are the significant details I found out in verifying the authenticity of your Skin79 BB Cream in hot pink. Basically the fake ones are still sporting the older look of the packaging.

Let's start with the box:

1) Real: shorter box, Fake: taller box

2) Real: writings on the front of the box are thinner and sharper including the logo, Fake: writings are thicker

3) Real: no barcode at the back of the box, Fake: has barcode at the back of the box

4) Real: has a dotted line at the back of the box where you could rip the box open, Fake: has no dotted line

5) Real: barcode can be found at the bottom of the box, Fake: no barcode at the bottom

6) Real: has both manufacture and expiration date at the bottom of the box, Fake: only has the expiration date at the bottom of the box

7) Real: noticeable circle around the SUPER+ Beblesh Balm label on top of the box, Fake: circle at the top of the box is not that noticeable

8) Real: has writings in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean inside of the box, Fake: only has the Skin79 logo printings inside of the box.

Now let's go check out the bottle:

9) Real: bottle is shorter, Fake: bottle is taller

10) Real: no plastic cover on the product dispensing spout, Fake: still has a plastic cover on the product dispensing spout

11) Real: Skin79 logo at the front is closer to the base of the bottle, Fake: Skin79 logo is slightly higher from the base

12) Real: press down button for product dispensing is silver in color, Fake: press down button is white in color

13) Real: manufacture date can also be found at the base of the bottle, Fake: manufacture date can be found at the lower part of the surface of the bottle, not at the base

14) Real: has authenticity sticker, Fake: doesn't have authenticity sticker

15) Real: base color is pink, Fake: has a silver colored base

16) Real: circular shaped dispenser button on top, Fake: half-capsule shaped dispenser button on top

So far these are the many obvious ways to tell whether a Skin79 BB Cream in hot pink is authentic or fake. With regard to the product itself, of course quality is definitely better with the authentic one. The fake product looks runny and doesn't blend well on the skin. In terms of the effects of the fake product, I don't think I'd wanna know... haha!

1st Haul from Han Ryu

Howdy! OMG I can't explain how stoked I am! We're finally in the "ber" period! But although Christmas is still more than 3 months away, it has already started for me. My package from Han Ryu has arrived after anxiously waiting for the delivery man for almost a day!! ^_^

Where did I get my stash from? Han Ryu!! An online store selling different brands of Korean cosmetics shipped straight from Korea so you can be guaranteed of authenticity of their products :) Some of the brands they carry are Skin79, Missha, Lioele, Tony Moly, Etude House, etc. Based on comparisons, so far they have the lowest prices being offered for good quality authentic Korean cosmetics.

This transaction I gotta say was one of the best I've had in my history of online shopping. It only took 3 days to complete the whole transaction: 1st day inquiring about the products, 2nd day sending my payment, 3rd day package arrived! Easy breezy... The seller is very accommodating with all my requests and queries, super polite and friendly too! Like, almost all of her text messages to me has a ^_^ with it lol!
